Lois Dunbar, 88, of Hwy. 910, Russell Springs, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013

at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was born February 26, 1924

in Russell County to the late Leo & Lona (Hart) Whittle.

She was a cashier at Lake Cumberland State Park and a member of the Pine Grove

Separate Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by 2 sisters; Flora Conn, Orpha Whittle and 1 brother; Byron Whittle.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Keith Dunbar

daughter; Peggy (Larold) Gosser, Russell Springs

2 grandchildren; Chad Gosser, Chastity Beyl

2 great grandchildren; Haley & Avery Beyl

sister-in-law; Imogene (Eugene) Popplewell, Russell Springs

2 brothers-in-law; Sam Dunbar, Morris "Wooly" (Pearl) Dunbar

Special friends; Lindsey Wilson, Gabe Browning, Christian Mascagni

She is also survive by a number of neices & nephews

She was saved at an early age and was a faithful member of Pine Grove

Separate Baptist church using her beautiful voice to sing praises unto God.

She will be sadly missed by her family, Church, and many friends.

Funeral service for Lois Dunbar will be 10 AM. Friday, February 8, 2013 at

the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richie Curtis & Rev. Casey Davis

officiating. Burial in the Square Oak Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 PM. Thursday at the funeral home

Special music: Doyle & Brenda Wilson.
