Jane Johnson, 81, died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at

the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown. She was born

June 30, 1934 in Russell County to the late James King &

Myrtie Gaskins Ford.

She was a homemaker and a member of Clear Springs

Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her

husband, Garlin Harrison Johnson; a son, Leonard Garlin Johnson;

2 grandaughters; Kristi McFarland Burton, Holly Denise Franklin

Johnson; 3 grandsons: Roger Dean Johnson, Jimmy Wayne Johnson,

John McGuire; 4 brothers and 3 sisters

Survivors include

6 children: Bobby (Vivian) Johnson, Russell Springs

                  Judy (Floyd) Back, Jamestown

                  Jimmie (Jean) Johnson, Columbia

                  Diana (J.C.) McFarland, Russell Springs

                   Sheba Wooldridge, Russell Springs

                  Lana (Roger) Wheat, Russell Springs

30 grandchildren-56 great grandchildren

Funeral service for Jane Johnson will be 2 PM.  Sunday

October 11, 2015 at the Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church

with Bro. David Harmon officiating.

Visitation after 5 PM. Saturday and 10 AM. Sunday at Bernard Funeral Home.

Interment in the Bernard Cemetery.
