Berman Dale Withers, 67, of Somerset, Ky (formerly of

Russell Springs, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the

Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center

in Somerset.

He was born September 3, 1948 in Shelbyville, Indiana to

Lillie Wilson Withers and the late Garnet Elvin Withers.

He was Transportation Director for Stephens Pipe & Steel

and was a member of New Friendship United Baptist Church.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a

sister, Norma Popplewell.

Survivors

wife: Christy Withers, Somerset

1 daughter: Shannon and Mark Shepard, Russell Springs

 1 son: Michael Withers and Lindsey McFarland, Hendersonville, TN

1 step daughter: Heather Tuel, Somerset, Ky

2 grandchildren: Zachary Harris. Allyson Harris

mother: Lillie Withers, Russell Springs

3 brothers: Manus Withers, Yosemite, Ky

                  Jim Withers, Russell Springs

                   Rodney Withers, Russell Springs

Funeral service for Berman Dale Withers will be 3 PM.

Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel

with Bro. Noah Broughton and Bro. Hugh Withers officiating.

Visitation after 5 PM. Thursday.

Interment in the New Friendship Cemetery

Pallbearers: Terry Stephens, Larry Blair, Gary Emerson, Jeff Kerns

                   Jason Withers, Tyler Brumley

The family requests memorials to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or

Saline Baptist Church Camp Canaan Youth Camp. These can be made

at the funeral home.
