Darwin E. Norfleet, 80, of Windsor, Ky, died Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Ky.  He was born December 7, 1937 in Ingle, Ky to Omer & Ethel Hainey Norfleet. 

Darwin retired from the Ford Motor Company as an electrician and was a deacon of the Union Independent Baptist Church.  Mr. Norfleet enjoyed woodworking, travel, building and playing musical instruments, reading and Bible study.  He will be remembered as a loving father, spouse, brother-in-law, and loyal friend.  Darwin professed faith in Christ as a young child, going to church with his grandmother at Pleasant Point Baptist Church.  He continued as a faithful Christian servant until his death.

In addition to his parents, Darwin was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia (Coomer) Norfleet.

                                     Logan (Brittany) Antle, Jamestown

1 Step Great Grandchild:  Eleanor Jane Antle

Funeral service for Darwin E. Norfleet will be 11 AM Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Union Independent Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Wade officiating.

Visitation will be 9-11 AM Wednesday at the church.

Interment in the Union Cemetery.

Special Music: Dean McKinley, Sherry Redmon, Tracy Roy Antle

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland and Gideons International.  These can be made at the church.
