Rose M. Tarter, 88, of Russell Springs, died Monday, November 12, 2018
at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown. She was born February 18, 1930
in Pekin, Illinois to the late Elba H. & Jewell White Jones.
Rose was a life long and active member of Russell Springs First Baptist Church.
She was community spirited, having been active in many civic organizations
including the Business & Professional Womens Club, which she also was named
the 1981 BPW career woman of the year. She was a special edcuation teacher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred S. Tarter
and two sisters, Donita and Lemoyne Jones.

Funeral service for Rose M. Tarter will be 1:30 PM. CST. Wednesday, November 14, 2018
at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ryan Coffey, Bro. Jeff Griffin and Bro. Carroll
Egnew officiating. Visitation after 9 AM. Wednesday.
Interment in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Joshua Tarter, Benjamin Tarter, Johnny Jones, Kevin Tarter, Trent Tarter,
Wayne Medaris, Mark Dabney.
