Mary Frances Thorpe, 81, of Jamestown, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019

at the Russell County Hospital. She was born November 20, 1937 in Russell

County to the late William & Orpha Dunbar Voils.

She was a member of Jamestown First Baptist Church and the Secretary

for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas

Daniel Thorpe and a son, Danny Kay Thorpe

Survivors

2 sons: Terry Lee (Sheryl) Thorpe, Indianapolis, IN

             Thomas William (Theresa) Thorpe, Jamestown

2 grandchildren: Matthew (Victoria) Thorpe, Russell Springs

                           Anthony (Brooke) Thorpe, Garner, N.C.

4 great grandchildren: Stella Thorpe, Jack Thorpe, Liddy Thorpe, Taylor Thorpe

1 brother: Alan (Patty) Voils, Indianapolis, IN

2 sisters: Jo Lynn Garrison, Jamestown

                Justine Crouch, Indianapolis

Funeral service for Mary Frances Thorpe will be 10 AM (CST) Monday,

January 14, 2019 at the Jamestown First Baptist Church with Bro. Billy

Dunbar and Bro. Scott Russell officiating.

Visitation 5-8 PM. Sunday at the Jamestown First Baptist Church and

after 8 AM. Monday at the church.

Interment in the Flanagan Cemetery.

Contributions of sympathy suggested to the Baptist Clothing Center.

Bernard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
