Joyce Jean Pickett, 81, died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the University


of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born October 16, 1932

in Greensburg, Ky to the late Clarence & Lillian McKinney Oakes. She was

co-owner of Pickett's Shoe store along with her late husband, Foster. She

was a member of Russell Springs United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles

Foster Pickett and step dad, Clarence Landis.


2 sons: Kenny (Tammy) Pickett, Jamestown

            Rodney Pickett and his partner, Bryan Roberson, Nashville, TN

2 grandchildren: Kriz Pickett, Jamestown

                          Kody Pickett, Jamestown

2 sisters: Maydell Moran, Greensburg, Ky

               Nancy (Harold) Dillingham, Prospect, Ky

2 sisters-in-law: Ruth Pickett Moore, Greensburg

                         Wayne Pickett, Columbia

2 brothers-in-law: Joe Pickett, Columbia

                            Frank Pickett, LaGrange, Ky

Funeral service for Joyce Jean Pickett will be 5 PM. Sunday, August 10, 2014

at the Russell Springs United Methodist Church with Bro. Jim Kingry  and

Bro. Dennis Price officiating. Visitation after 2 PM. Sunday at church.

Burial in the Russell County Memorial Gardens.
