Roy Wariner, 88, of Jamestown, died Friday, July 7, 2017

at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown. He was born

August 21, 1928 in Champaign, Illinois to the late Roe &

Nellie Lawless Wariner.

He was a Veteran of US Navy, a member of Church of God

of Prophecy and a music teacher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his

wife, Ilene Glover Wariner; a son, Larry Wariner; a grandson,

Matthew Joseph Wariner and several brothers & sisters.


5 children: Kenny (Carol) Wariner, Noblesville, IN

                 Barbara Judd, Noblesville, IN

                  Steve (Caryn) Wariner, Franklin, TN

                  David Wariner, Nashville, TN

                  Terry (Tracy) Wariner, Russell Springs

12 grandchildren-3 great grandchildren

1 brother: Lowell Wariner, Noblesville, IN

Funeral service for Roy Wariner will be 2 PM. Tuesday,

July 11, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with

Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating.

Visitation 10-2 PM. Tuesday

Interment in the Jamestown Cemetery with full military honors

by the Russell County Honor Guard
