James Finamore Cooper, 91, of Russell Springs, died

Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his home. He was born

May 27, 1927 in Russell County to the late Edward &

Cora Lee Bowmer Cooper.

James was a Veteran of US Army, employee of Hi-Way

Manufacturing and a member of Salem United Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by

his wife, Eudora Humble Cooper; 5 sisters, Lucy Robertson,

Alma Dutton, Eva Robertson, Estes Patterson, Helen Bernard;

3 brothers, Arva Cooper, Edward Cooper, Palmer Cooper

Survivors

2 children: Donald (Linda) Cooper, Russell Springs

                  Linda Cooper & Les Lacey, Somerset, Ky

2 grandchildren: Bryan (Lacy) Cooper, Russell Springs

                          Heather (Jason) Withers, Russell Springs

4 great grandchildren: Camdin Cooper, Finnly Cooper,

                           Hattie-Mae Cooper, Madyson Withers

Funeral service for James Finamore Cooper will be 10 AM.

Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home

Chapel with Bro. Larold Gosser officiating.

Visitation 5-8 PM Sunday and after 8 AM. Monday until

funeral time at 10 AM.

Interment in the Salem Cemetery with full military honors

by the Russell County Honor Guard.

Special music: Glen & Willodean Richardson.

The family requests memorials to St. Jude Children's

Research Hospital. These can be made at the funeral home.
