Billy Wayne Perdue, 87, of Russell Springs, died Sunday,

September 22, 2019 at his home. He was born February 9,

1932 in Portland, Tennessee to the late Mack & Amy Hobdy

Perdue.

He was a Veteran of US Army, a member of Jamestown

Church of Christ and retired from Western Electric.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his

wife, Sarah May Perdue; 6 siblings Ivy Ashbrooks, Gladys Vance,

M. C. Perdue, Thelma Millick, Bobby Perdue, Ann Richardson

Surviors include

2 daughters: Laretta Pierce, Russell Springs

                     Sue Popplewell, Louisville

3 grandchiildren: Kim Popplewell, Craig (Ashlea) Pierce, Derek (Ariel) Popplewell

7 great grandchildren: Montanna & Hunter Grider, Ben & Kaylen Pierce,

  Ethan & Briley Jones, Jaden McCullough

3 sisters: Wilma Reeder, Indianapolis

                Maxine Owens, Indianapolis

                Glenda Lynch, Georgia

Funeral service for Billy Wayne Perdue will be 11 AM. Wednesday,

September 25th at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with

Bro. Scott Eubanks officiating

Visitation 3-8 PM. Tuesday, and after 8 AM. Wednesday until

funeral time at 11

Interment in the Russell County Memorial Gardens with full

military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.
