Alvin Hitch, 76, of Russell Springs, died Friday
at the Russell County Hospital Hospice Unit. He
was born May 4, 1939 in Adair County to the late
Lonza & Vina Pike Hitch.
He was a former manager of Ben Franklin Store in
Columbia and a salesman for Colonial Bread Co.
He was a 50 year member of Russell Springs Lodge
#941-F & AM.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by 4 brothers; Herbert, Howard, Dempsey, & Johnny
Hitch and 2 sisters, Mary Shepherd, Lorena Shepherd.

Funeral service for Alvin Hitch will be 10 AM. Monday,
July 13, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel
with Bro. Larry Johnson officiating.
Visitation 4-8 PM. Sunday
Burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia
