Audrey Mae Eastham

Audrey Mae Eastham, of Russell Springs, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Russell County Hospital. She was 98 years of age.

Born July 4, 1926, in Weldon, Illinois, to the late Ceasar and Ada Johnson Eastham, she was one of nine children. Audrey worked as a secretary at Emerson Manufacturing for fifty-five years, from 1955 to 2010. She loved to crochet and enjoyed sewing. Audrey was a member of the Russell County Hospital Auxiliary. She was most proud that she had made a profession of faith and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers; James Eastham, Donald Eastham, Glindo “Babe” Eastham, Ceasar “Nook” Eastham, Jr.; and three sisters; Edith Stephens, Kathleen Dalton, and Cassie Cornthwaite.

Survivors include one sister, DeLora Parker, of Illinois; two nephews, Harold Lee Dalton and Tom Anding; two nieces, Shirley (and Billy) Lawson, of Russell Springs, and Becky Dalton; one great-nephew, Barry (Nenna) Lawson, of Russell Springs; and two great-great-nephews, Nathan Lawson and Brannon Lawson, of Russell Springs.

Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Bodie Emerson officiating. Special music will be by Emma Lou Bryant. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. 

Visitation is from 10:00 until time of funeral service on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Barry Lawson, Nathan Lawson, Brannon Lawson, Chris Long, John Loveless, and Charles Emerson. Honorary pallbearers are Estus Emerson and Donnie Cooper.
