Barry Lee Antle, of Russell Springs, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Russell County Hospital. He was 51 years of age.
Born on August 6, 1969, in Indiana, he was the son of the late Bobby Antle and Shirley Handy Vincent. Barry had been an employee for Stephens Pipe and Steel for 30 years. Barry was a simple man. He was an artist who had a strong belief in God. He was always seen wearing his hat.
He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Bobbie Wilson Antle; his son, James Rodgers (and Toni), of Russell Springs; his daughters, Amanda DeBord (and Holly), of Somerset, and Brooke Antle, of Russell Springs; his brothers, Shawn Sprowles (and Cassandra), of Somerset, and Eric Handy, of Russell Springs; his sister, Melissa Branscum (and Dean), of Eubank; his step-sisters, Shanda Skaggs (and Nathan), of Jamestown, and Melinda Greenwell (and Glen), of South Carolina; and his grandson, Dylan DeBord, who was Barry’s world.
Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Fields officiating. Burial will be in Bernard Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Rodgers, Eric Handy, Shawn Sprowles, Johnathon Sprowles, Craig Dunbar and Eddie Murphy.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home.
Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.
