Barry Bernard

Barry Kay Bernard, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.  He was 63 years of age.

Barry was born on November 29, 1957, in Cincinnati, son of Benjamin Bernard and Nadine Wisdom Bernard. 

He is survived by his father, Ben Bernard, of Russell Springs; his sisters, Sherry Kappes (Dan), of Independence, and Crystal Chaney (Benny), of Eli; and his nephews, Stephen Kappes, Aaron Kappes, Nicholas Kappes and Roger Chaney.

Barry is preceded in death by his uncle, Jack Bernard; and his aunt, Betty Walker.

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Caleb Shirley officiating.  Burial will be in Lucenda Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Stephen Kappes, Aaron Kappes, Nicholas Kappes, Roger Chaney, Matt Wyatt and Joshua Wilkey.

Visitation will be held after 11:00 a.m. on Monday, at Bernard Funeral Home.
