Betty Carol (Polston) Hadley

Betty Carol Hadley, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at her home.  She was 77 years of age.

Born March 8, 1948, in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Vesta Wells Polston. Betty was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom, Inc.  In younger years, she enjoyed raising a large vegetable garden.  Betty loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, David G. (and Becky) Hadley, of Jamestown; two daughters, Lana Jo Cape, of Jamestown, and Karen Kean, of Russell Springs; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Hadley, and a son, Jerry Dewayne Hadley.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM CST, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Story Cemetery, Story Cemetery Road, in Albany, with Bro. Wendell Roberts officiating.  Special music will be provided by Mattie, Hadleigh, and Bella Parrish.

In lieu of flowers or funeral gift’s, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
