Bill Priddy, Jr. Obituary

Bill Priddy, Jr., of Stanford, passed away peacefully at his home, on February 21, 2025. He was 82 years, 5 months, and 3 days of age.

Born in Louisville, on September 18, 1942, he was a son of the late William D. and Shirley Edith Morgan Priddy, Sr. Bill was the owner and operator of Priddy Cars and a member and former Sunday School Superintendent of Calvary Hill Baptist Church, in Stanford. He was an avid car lover and a member of the Mustang Ponies Shrine Club in Elizabethtown. Bill also enjoyed listening to music and loved his dogs.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Susan McKinney Priddy, of Stanford; his sons, Jason (and Tiffany) Priddy, of Columbia and Jonathan Priddy, of Stanford; his granddaughter, Nevaeh Priddy; and his brother, Terry (and Pam) Priddy, of Jamestown.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by three infant children; his brother, David Priddy; and his sisters, Janice Priddy and Barbara “Bobbie” Cundiff.

Funeral services will be held privately for family and close friends at Bernard Funeral Home, in Russell Springs. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Priddy, Jonathan Priddy, James Cunnagin, Todd Cundiff, Darrin Priddy, and John Flanary.

Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Spangenberger, Carl Ford, Dennis Priddy, and Steven Roy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of sympathy be made to Heritage Hospice, 120 Enterprise Drive, Danville, KY 40422. Donations may also be left at the funeral home.
