Bobby Lynn Kimbler, of Russell Springs, passed away Monday June 30, 2025, at UK Medical Center, in Lexington. He was 67 years of age.
Born September 15, 1957, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Orlie and Mary Bunch Kimbler. Bobby was master plumber and owner of Kimbler’s Plumbing, LLC. He considered himself a life-long learner and was always up for a challenge that he faced. Bobby had a wonderful sense of humor and was a great storyteller. He enjoyed drag racing and spending time reading his bible. Bobby dearly loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Connie Hare Kimbler, of Russell Springs; two sons, Steven Kimbler, of Lexington, and Robert “Robbie” (Lucenda) Kimbler, of Summersville; special daughter, Jenny Burton, of Bowling Green; brother, Joe (Leah) Kimbler, of Columbia; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM CST Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Delvin Wilson and Bro. Kenny Kimbler officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home, and will resume Thursday morning after 7:30 AM, until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bobby’s memory to the American Cancer Society or Gideon’s International. These can be left at the funeral home.
