Brylie Northcutt, of Russell Springs, passed from this life on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Russell County Hospital. She was 15 years, 2 months, and 15 days of age.
Brylie was born on December 01, 2010, in Somerset, the daughter of Brittany Roy McCormack. Brylie was a freshman at Russell County High School and a member of the Lady Lakers Softball Team. Brylie was also a member of the Russell County FFA Chapter. She loved school and was very studious, making “straight A’s” and the Principal's List. Brylie loved her family and people and always wanted to help, leading to her drive and passion to one day becoming a doctor.
Brylie loved Jesus and was saved. She was a member of Royville Friendship Church. She loved reading her Bible and was often found doing so daily on her phone. She loved old classic music, especially Elvis. Brylie loved going to restaurants with her family. If dining locally, she would always get the classic “The Russell Special”, chicken and rice with cheese sauce. Brylie loved it so much that she would even eat the leftovers for breakfast with a big glass of milk.
Brylie is survived by her mother and step-father, Brittany and Steven McCormack, of Russell Springs; her sister, Brooklyn Northcutt, of Lincoln County; her grandparents, Loretta Roy and Mark Fudge, of Russell Springs, Jamie and Kelly McCormack, of Green County, and Richard Roy, of Russell Springs; her great-grandparents, Jean and the late Jimmy Popplewell, of Russell Springs, Pearl and the late Farley Roy, of Russell Springs, and Janice and the late Edward Barrett, of Russell Springs; her uncles, Blake (and Cassie) Roy and Kolbe (and Emilee) Roy, both of Russell Springs; her aunt, Dorothy (and Roy) Parson, of Russell Springs; and her fur babies, Maxine and Ivy.
