That same year, she started working for General Motors in Indianapolis, where she devoted 25 years of service before retiring in 1990 and returning to her beloved hometown.
Carron found joy in life’s simple blessings. She also adored her cats, who were constant companions throughout her life. After returning to Kentucky, Carron opened her own craft store, Craft Corner, which she proudly operated for more than a decade.
She is survived by her son, James (wife, Tamie) Hatfield of Martinsville, IN; her step-sons, Casper (wife, Susie) Nehez III of Greenwood, IN, and Tom Nehez of Shelbyville, IN; her brothers, Garnett “Cotton” (wife, Verlene) McBeath, Phillip “Pino” McBeath, and Garlin “Garbo” McBeath, all of Russell Springs, KY; her sister, Chloie Brown of Jabez, KY; five cherished grandchildren; and two precious great-granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, Carron was preceded in death by her husband, Casper Nehez, on May 18, 2024, and by two brothers, William “Duck” McBeath and Charles “Chuck” McBeath.
