Christopher Lynn Young

Christopher Lynn Young, age 45, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, in Columbia along with his mother, Linda.

Born April 21, 1979, he was a son of the late Gene and Linda Hill Young.  Chris worked as a welder.  He enjoyed riding horses, watching westerns, and collecting UK and John Wayne memorabilia.

Survivors include two brothers, Troy (and Jacquita) Young, Jamestown, and Mark (and Connie) Young, of Columbia.

In addition to his mother, Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Gene Young.

Funeral services are 3:00 PM Monday, October 28, 2024, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Bodie Emerson and Bro. Doug Baldwin officiating.  Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM Monday and  continue until the time of services.
