Danny Lee McBroom

Danny Lee McBroom, 76 years of old, passed away on October 20, 2024, at his home in Russell Springs, Kentucky, originally of St. Charles, Illinois.

He served in the US Navy and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Upon his return to the states, he was employed for 26 years by Illinois Bell Telephone Company in Geneva, Illinois. He retired to Russell Springs, Kentucky, where he enjoyed fishing, caring for his house plants, freshwater aquarium fish, and enjoying the company of his favorite pups, Levi and Dawn.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette and Algie “Buddy” McBroom; and his brother, Steve McBroom.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia, of Russell Springs, Kentucky. He is also survived by his three sisters, Diane Freiny, Debra Swanson (Norm), and Joyce Tatera (Mike), all of Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 25, 2024, at Yurs Funeral Home, in Saint Charles, Illinois. Burial will follow in River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, Illinois.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Friday, at Yurs Funeral Home.
