David Robin McClain, of Jamestown, formerly of Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Russell County Hospital. He was 57 years of age.
Born January 26, 1967, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was a son of the late Richard and Cathryn Mort McClain. David was employed at Tyson Foods, in Albany. Previously, he worked for many years as a cook in various restaurants, while living in Ohio. David was an enthusiastic fan of the Dallas Cowboys and OSU Buckeyes football teams. To his children, he was a great father and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include a son, David (and Chelsea) McClain, Jr., of Rushville Ohio; a daughter, Crysta Davis (and Cody Acierno), of Rushville, Ohio; one brother, Richard McClain, of Jamestown; three sisters, Karen Wheat, Dona Dausch, and Tammy Barnett, all of Jamestown; and three grandchildren, Adalynn, Leighton, and Zoey.
Cremation was chosen by the family. A memorial service is planned for 1:00 PM CST Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM CST and will continue until time of service.
