Gina Elaine Pike

Gina Elaine Pike, of Russell Springs, passed from this life on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, in Somerset.  She was 60 years of age.

Gina was born on Tuesday, October 29, 1963, in Louisville, daughter of the late Dillard and Audrey Pike.  She was the “laughing-est” person you would ever meet; her family and friends had never met anyone who laughed as much as Gina did.  She loved being around her friends and being home, sitting on her porch or being by the pond.  Gina loved her flowers and dry land fish.  She had a great eye for spotting items that she would creatively use in decorating.  Gina was a natural caregiver and saw after her parents in the last years of their lives.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Tracey Pike, of Russell Springs; her nephew and his family, Ethan Pike (and Whitney) and Vaeda Murray and Graham Pike, of Russell Springs; her nephews, Kasey Pike, of Russell Springs, Scott (and Ryan) Harris, of Harlan, Dustin (and Eryn) Harris, of Crawfordville, Indiana, and Anthony (and Nikki) Alley, of Columbia; a host of great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and lots of cousins and many friends.

Along with her parents, Gina is preceded in death by her sister, Gwendy Harris; and her special dog, Charlie.

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Scott Proctor officiating.  Interment will follow in Tarter Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday and continue until service time.
