Gladys “Clemmie” Rose, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, in Edgewood, having attained the age of 94 years, 4 months and 11 days.
Ms. Clemmie was born Friday, April 18, 1930, in Russell County, daughter of the late Arlo and Nola Holt Hadley. She was a retired book binder for the Rosenthal Printing Company. Ms. Clemmie was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (and Marlene) Bailey, of Ocala, Florida and Ronnie D. (and Becky) Bailey, of Walton, Kentucky; her sister, Mary Vaughn, of Bond, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Brian Bailey, Ronnie Bailey, Jr. and Kristy Bailey Hall; and her great-grandchildren, Keegan Bailey, Kiera Bailey, Liam Bailey, Lilly Bailey, Kyler Hall and Kasen Hall.
Along with her parents, Ms. Clemmie is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Bailey; her second husband, Jeffery Rose; her brothers, Glen Hadley and Joe Hadley; and her sisters, Joyce Withers and Jean Craig.
A graveside service and inurnment will be 10:30 a.m. CST, Saturday, October 19, 2024, in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, with Bro. Bodie Emerson officiating.
