Ion Wade Lacy, 97, died Friday at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home
in Jamestown. She was born February 27, 1917 in Russell County
to the late William Festus & Mary Etta Anderson Wade.
She was a homemaker and a active member of the Russell Springs
United Methodist Church since 1941, where she was a member of the
Susannah Wesley Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women,
serving on several committees of the church. She was an active member
of the Russell Springs Homemakers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Cloyd Andy Lacy; 2 brothers, Artis Wade, Eldon Wade; sister, Marjorah
Sands; 2 brothers-in-law, Jim McCabe, Phil Sands; and a sister-in-law,
Maxine Wade. and a sister, LaVere Black.

Funeral service for Ion Wade Lacy will be 11 AM. Monday, Russell
Springs United Methodist Church with Bro.Jim Kingry officiating.
Visitation 4-8 PM. Sunday, Bernard Funeral Home and after 9 AM.
Monday at the church.
Burial in the Columbia City Cemetery.
