Jimmy E. Luttrell, of Russell Springs, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at his home. He was 77 years, 5 months, and 3 days of age.
Born on May 9, 1948, at home in Russell County, he was a son of the late John Edward and Gladys Ruby Roy Luttrell. Jimmy was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Russell County Road Department and a member of Russell Springs First Baptist Church. He was an avid rabbit hunter and outdoorsman. Jimmy raised an exceptional pedigree line of Beagles, being well-known throughout the state. Jimmy was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Rexroat Luttrell, of Russell Springs; his children, Jamie (and Rick) Luttrell and Jody (and Teddy) Mann, both of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Chance (and Haley) Mann, Jasmine (and Sam) Milam, Chanlar Mann, and Luke Luttrell; his great-grandchildren, Milly Milam and Jack Milam; his brother, Junia Luttrell, of Russell Springs; and his sister, Anna McDonald, of Russell Springs.
Funeral services are 10:30 A.M. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Joe Sullivan and Brother Christian Naylor officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, and will continue on Friday, from 7:30 A.M. until the time of services.
