With great sadness, we announce the passing of Joseph Allen Pepperkorn “Boger”, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Born on January 9, 1973, to Sharron (Richard) Boger. Joe’s greatest joy came with the birth of his son, Aaron Pepperkorn, on October 3, 1998.
Joe proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as a crew chief, dedicating himself to the safety and readiness of his fellow service members. His career spanned the globe, reflecting his unwavering commitment to duty and excellence.
A true motorcycle enthusiast, Joe found freedom on two wheels, embracing the thrill of the ride and the camaraderie of fellow riders. He also cherished bowling nights, where laughter and friendship mattered more than strikes and spares. His adventurous spirit led him across the world, but nowhere felt more like home than Lake Cumberland, where he spent countless days fishing, boating, and making treasured memories.
Above all, Joe will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for family and friends. A friend to many and a stranger to none, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and adventure.
Joe is survived by his son, Aaron Pepperkorn; his mother, Sharron (Richard) Boger; his father, Rick Pepperkorn; his stepfather, David Boger; his siblings, Stefanie Salazar, Travis Pepperkorn, and Colten Boger; many beloved nieces and nephews; his life partner, Vickie Padilla; and his cherished grandchildren of the heart, Renn and Leonora Amarillo.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Shelby Boger; his brother, Charles Boger; and his grandparents, Lawrence Boger and Ray and Joan Benzel.
