Joyce C. (Ford) Wilson

Joyce C. Ford Wilson, age 74, of Russell Springs, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset.

Born on August 17, 1946, in Somerset, she was the daughter of the late Henry Ford and Dalphia Roark Ford Burchett.  Joyce worked for many years at Russell Sportswear and Fruit of the Loom. She was a devout Christian who served the Lord all of her life.

Survivors include her daughters, Dena (and Randall) Burton, of Russell Springs, Diana Wright, of Louisville, and LaDonna Wilson, of Nashville; two brothers, Terry (and Karen) Burchett, Jerry (and Kim) Burchett, both of Russell Springs; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, John L.D. Wilson, who passed away May 13, 2002.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 13, and will continue on Friday morning from 8:00 AM until time of services.

Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance.  Facial coverings are required.
