Lela Lee McGowan, 90, of Russell Springs, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at the Russell County Hospital. She was born February 28, 1930 in Russell County to the late John and Olza (Smith) Ashbrook. She attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester McGowan and a

daughter, Bonnie McGowan.

Survivors include

4 sons: James (Sandy) McGowan

Shelby (Andrea) McGowan

Larry (Peggy) McGowan

Dean (Jenny) McGowan, all of Russell Springs

1 daughter: JoAnn Coulter, Las Vegas, NV

11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
