Lena Doris Camp, of Russell Springs, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Summit Manor Nursing Home, in Columbia. She was 96 years of age.
Born on December 31, 1929, in Horseshoe Bottom, in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Dora and Margie Kinnett Blankenship. Lena was a homemaker and a faithful member of Russell Springs Christian Church. Lena enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers. She was willing to help anyone in need and being a caretaker for her family.
Lena is survived by her son, Larry (and Diana) Hale, of Puryear, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Brigit Parkinson and Rene (and Mike) Burke; and three sisters, Connie Blankenship, Linda Stapp, and Sylvia Stapp.
In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Camp; her son, Jack Hale; her daughter, Donna Kendall; two brothers, Monty Blankenship and Randall Blankenship; and two grandchildren, Lucas Hale and Clayton Hale.
Funeral services are 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Russell Springs Christian Church, with Brother Carroll Egnew officiating. Burial will follow in Jamestown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday, at Russell Springs Christian Church.
Pallbearers will be Stan Thomas, Keith Pierce, Lonnie White, David Bostic, Roy Thomas, and Mike Egnew.
Honorary pallbearers are Garris Sullivan and Danny Coffey.
In lieu of flowers, Lena requested that donations be made to Russell Springs Christian Church Benevolence Fund.
