Linda Kay Flatt

Linda Kay Flatt, of Jamestown, passed from this life on Friday, April 11, 2025, at her home, having attained the age of 75 years, 4 months and 20 days.

Ms. Linda was born Tuesday, November 22, 1949, in Creelsboro, daughter of the late Rufus C. and Geneva Keeton Flatt.  She was such a loving person, finding the good in everything and everybody.  Ms. Linda lovingly cared for her mother for many years, up until the time of her mother’s passing.  When she was younger, Ms. Linda loved the water; once she got in the pool, she sure didn’t want to get out.  She enjoyed going for walks, doing crafts and coloring, and liked to read and play search a word games.  Ms. Linda had a love for music and was a huge Louisville Cardinals fan.

She is survived by her brother, David (and Judy) Flatt, of Shepherdsville; her sister, Bobby Roy, of Jamestown; her nephews, Tim Roy, Tony Popplewell and Jeffrey Seigle; her niece, Heather Seigle; great-nephews, Kyler Roy and Ben Popplewell; great-nieces, Sierra (and Matt) Ryan, Jaye Thompson and Chelsey Roy; and her great-great-niece, Kaelynn Long.

Along with her parents, Ms. Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Roy; and her nieces, Tammy Roy and Missy Roy.

Funeral services are 12:00 noon Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Bobby Conner officiating.  Burial will follow in Dixon Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be James Flatt, Barry Flatt, Tim Roy, Trevor Foster, Jeffrey Seigle and Tony Popplewell.

Visitation will be held after 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, until time for funeral services.
