Linda Faye Wallis, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Russell County Hospital. She was 75 years of age.
Born September 30, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Florian and Carrie Maloney Bugni. Linda enjoyed making crafts and flower arrangements. She also enjoyed traveling and sightseeing with her husband in their RV. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandma, and will be greatly missed by all her family.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 57 years, Carlsen Wallis, of Jamestown; two sons, Carlson Wallis, Jr. (and Shelly) of Pontiac, Michigan, and Matthew (and Amy) Wallis, of Idalou, Texas; four daughters, Rachel (and Adam) Meyer, of Goodrich, Michigan, Abra Betancourt, of Fowlerville, Michigan, Tara Hudson, of Jamestown, and Toni Wallis, of Lapeer, Michigan; one brother, Richard (and Melody) Bugni, of Warren, Michigan; one sister, Rosemary Docherty, of Reidsville, North Carolina; fifteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, with one more on the way.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Gerald Bugni and Florian Bugni, Jr.; and two sisters, Gloria Brower, and Jo Ann Oakes.
Funeral services are 12:00 PM Monday, December 22, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Gary Kronenburg officiating.
Visitation will begin after 10:00 AM and continue until time of services.
