Linda Sue (Hill) Young

Linda Sue Young, age 74, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, in Columbia, along with her son, Christopher.

Born December 4, 1949, in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Collin and Christine Antle Hill.  Linda worked as a registered nurse for many years at Russell County Hospital and was a member of Fairview Separate Baptist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her beloved dogs, Tahlia and Mackenzie.

Survivors include two sons, Troy (and Jacquita) Young, Jamestown, and Mark (and Connie) Young, of Columbia.

In addition to her parents and son, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Young.

Funeral services are 3:00 PM Monday, October 28, 2024, at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Bodie Emerson and Bro. Doug Baldwin officiating. Interment will be in Dixon Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM Monday and continue until the time of services.
