Louella J. Yoder, of Glensfork, passed from this life Monday, August 28, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was 30 years of age.
Born May 19, 1993, in Columbia, she was a daughter of Jonas and Elnora Borntrager Nissley. Louella was a wonderful wife and mother, and she attended Chestnut Grove Christian Church with her family. She enjoyed listening to music, baking, and every year she would grow an abundant vegetable garden. Louella loved being able to help people in need and always put others first. Everyone that knew her said she had the most beautiful smile.
Survivors include her husband, Lester Yoder, of Glensfork; her parents, Jonas and Elnora Nissley, of Lamar, Missouri; three sons, Jeremy Alan Yoder, Melvin Jordan Yoder, and Nathan Lee Yoder; one daughter, Rosetta Fay Yoder; three brothers, John Nissley, of Russell Springs, Wilmer J. (and Melissa) Nissley, of Lamar, Missouri, and Nathaniel (and Sara) Nissley, of Lajara, Colorado; six sisters, Nettie (and Tobie) Miller, of Lamar, Missouri, Rachael (and Alvin) Stutzman, of Lajara, Colorado, Susan (and Mahlon) Burkholder, of Pawnee City, Nebraska, Josephine (and Daniel) Stutzman, of Lamar Missouri, Lena (and Jakie) Burkholder, of Maywood, Nebraska, and Effie (and Steven) Miller, of Russell Springs.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM CST, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Daniel Nissley officiating. Burial will follow in Hadley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM CST Wednesday, and again at 8:00 AM on Thursday, until time of services at the funeral home.
