Mable Joyce (Conover) Twyford

Mable Joyce Twyford, of Russell Springs, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was 82 years of age.

Born on September 26, 1942, in Adair County, she was the only child born to the union of the late James and Stella Roy Conover. Joyce was a homemaker and member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Stanley Twyford, of Russell Springs; her daughter, Marilyn (and Richard) Poteet, of Bowling Green; and her granddaughter, Jordan Poteet.

Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Richie Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services on Friday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Poplar Grove Baptist Church. Donations can be made at the funeral home.
