Mark William Burton

Mark William Burton, of Russell Springs, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Centennial Medical Center, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 53 years of age.

Mark was born in Somerset, on September 15, 1972, a son of the late Linnie K. Daniel Gadberry and William Burton. Mark was a factory worker and a member of several local music bands. Mark enjoyed shooting pool.

Mark is survived by his wife, Amber Thomas; his son, Logan (and Sierra) Burton, of Russell Springs; his granddaughter, Emma Burton; two brothers, Thomas Burton and James Burton, both of Russell Springs; his sisters, Wilda Burton Snider, of Casey County, and Debbie Burton Winnington, of Jamestown, Tennessee; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Butch Crawford.

Cremation rites were honored by Bernard Funeral Home.

The family will host a private celebration of life at a later date.
