Mark Deel

Mark Anthony Deel, of Russell Springs, passed from this life Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.  He was 43 years of age.

Mark was born July 20, 1980, in Indianapolis, Indiana, son of James Galbreath and Brenda Polston Deel.  He seemed to know just about everyone in Russell County.  Mark loved playing pool and going fishing, and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Deel, of Russell Springs; his son, Tyler Deel, of Jamestown; brothers, Jason Deel, of Mt. Vernon, James Deel, of Russell Springs, Jeff Bryant, of Ohio, and James Galbreath, Jr., of Russell Springs; sisters, Tabithia Bell, of Russell Springs, Heather Stevenson, of Jamestown, Hailey Galbreath, of Russell Springs, and McKenzie Galbreath, also of Russell Springs; and a very special niece and nephew, Rosetta Galbreath and Josh Galbreath.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, James Galbreath; and his step-sisters, Rosemary Galbreath and Dovie Galbreath.

A private family memorial service celebrating Mark’s life will be held at a later date.
