Marlin Ray Dixon, of Russell Springs, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at his home. He was 65 years of age.
Marlin was born on January 24, 1956, in Russell Springs, son of the late Riley Dixon and Juanita Wells Dixon Kerr. He was a past employee at the former Fruit of the Loom plant, in Jamestown.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Holmes Dixon; his son, Travis Dixon, of Russell Springs; his brothers, Angelo (and Terri) Dixon, of Russell Springs, Royce (and Nancy) Dixon, of Windsor, and Jeff (and Barbara) Kerr, of Russell Springs; his sisters, Lenora Hayes, Dinah (and Danny) Kerr, and Ruth (and Kendell) Hoover, all of Russell Springs; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Marlin is preceded in death by his step-dad, Olie Kerr; and his brother, Bobby Dixon.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Bernard Funeral Home.
Funeral Services are 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 17, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Richie Curtis and Bro. Delvin Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Bradshaw, Cody Kerr, Preston Richardson, Jeron Wall, Rodney Holmes and Willie Holmes.
