Mary L Shearer-Gagne

Mary Louise Shearer-Gagne, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, originally from Russell Springs, KY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Baptist Health East, in Louisville, KY.  She was 95 years of age.

Mary was born on August 19, 1926, in Russell Springs, daughter of the late Herbert and Bonnie Halsell-Helm.  She spent her working career as a hairdresser. 

Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her first husband, Garvis Shearer; and her second husband, Arthur Gagne.

She is survived by her son, Mark Shearer (Teri Cracchiolo), of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; her daughter, Bonita Gail Cooper, of Jamestown, KY; three grandchildren, Jerome (Bonita) Cooper, Jason (Kaylea) Cooper, and Michelle Rikli (Michael Sargunas); six great-grandchildren, Amanda (Wesley) Judd, Kevin Cooper, Brooklyn Cooper, Elliot Davis, Jonathan Davis, and Jacob Rikli; and six great-great-grandchildren, Kassidy Judd, Phoenix Davis, Kayleigh Cooper, Carly Cooper, Natalie Cooper and Vada Cooper.

A Graveside Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., C.S.T., on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in Russell Springs City Cemetery.
