Mildred Catherine (Ingram) Royalty

Mildred Catherine Royalty, of Russell Springs, passed away at her home Saturday, January 18, 2025.  She was 89 years of age.

 Mildred was an artist.  She enjoyed homemaking and baking delicious cakes and bread.  In her youth, she was a member of the US Olympic Diving Team.

Survivors include a son, Tim Downey, of Texas; two granddaughters, Jessica (and Jeffrey) Garner, of Russell Springs, and Cassidy Miller, of Elizabethtown; and three great-grandchildren, Journey Garner, Loralye Daulbaugh, and Conley Miller.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Royalty; and a daughter, Susan Downey.

Cremation was chosen by the family.  No services are planned at this time.
