Mimi Popplewell, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, died on September 29, 2023.

Cremation rites will be afforded by Bernard Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at a later date to be determined.

Mimi was born July 7, 1943, the daughter of Theodore Popplewell and Jennie Popplewell.  She was the loving Mother of Tiffany Stanford, of Aurora, Illinois; beloved Grandmother of Chelsea Stanford, of Ottawa, Illinois, Alan Stanford, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and Brooke Moxley, of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by both parents and four brothers, Orvan, Ollis (Vonnie), Carson, and Thomas; and one sister, Ann McDaniel.

She is survived by four brothers, Bobby, Spencer (Della), Earl Dean (Cynthia) and Jerry (Sandy); and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Mimi worked at many jobs, most notably as a dance instructor for Arthur Murray Studios, self-employed Beautician, and at Western Electric.

Mimi will be remembered for her love of singing Karaoke and her love of Dancing.
