Paul Kaelin

Paul Kaelin was born on November 20, 1938, in Greenwood, Indiana, and passed from this life on February 26, 2023, at Russell County Hospital.

Paul was 84 years old.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty M. Kaelin, of Russell Springs, his parents Joe and Edna Kaelin, and his brother, Joseph Kaelin of Texas.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Cathy, and son, Butch, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his family, Louise Rosian, Kathleen (Clark) Wheeler, Sharon (Jacob) Beach, and grandchildren, Abby and Yogi Beach.

Paul lived in Texas for much of his life and was a true Texas cowboy!  He was a rodeo rider for many years.  As a career, he drove a semi for more than 30 years, then started a second career working at Stephens Pipe and Steel, as a supervisor, for the next 30 years. 

Bro. Carroll Egnew will be officiating the funeral service. 

Special music will be by Candy Wilson, Larry Skaggs, and Marcia Skaggs.

Pallbearers:  Clark Wheeler, Vernon Nissley, Jaden York, Ronnie Hudson, and Derek Polston.

Honorary Pallbearer:  Galen Crockett

Interment will be in Clear Springs Cemetery, Russell Springs, Kentucky. 

Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home, with the funeral beginning at 1:00 P.M.
