Pauline Harris

Gladys “Pauline” Harris, of Russell Springs, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Jean Waddle Care Center, in Somerset.  She was 100 years of age.

Pauline was born August 10, 1922, in Cumberland County, daughter of the late Paul and Fannie Murphy Potts.  She married Charles “Chuck” Harris on April 12, 1941, in Russell Springs.  Pauline spent many years teaching school.

She is survived by her two nephews, Gary Russell Bettens and John Humble; and her great-nephews and great-nieces.

Along with her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, ‘Chuck”, who passed away June 11, 1995; her sister, Lillie Jean Bettens Humble; and her niece, Donna Jean Bettens Burress.

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. CST, Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Carroll Egnew officiating.  Interment will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held after 11:00 a.m. CST, Wednesday, until time for services.
