Percy A. Fischer

Percy A. Fisher, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital, in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. He was 71 years, 5 months, and 15 days of age.

Born August 26, 1953, in Camden, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Albert and Bernice Faddis Fischer. Percy served as a fireman in the United States Navy and was a truck driver after leaving the Navy. Percy never met a stranger and was known by many as “Uncle Percy” for always being willing to help anyone in need. He always made his own path in life, had countless skills, and even more hobbies.

Percy is survived by his only daughter, Ruth Krieg (and Steven Lashley, Sr.), of Somerset; his grandchildren, Samantha (and Nicholas) Lawless, of Somerset, Sarah Krieg (and De`Andre Bray, Sr.), of Somerset, Thomas Krieg, of Somerset,  Alannah Krieg (and Alexander Montoya), of Somerset; his great-grandchildren, De`Andre Bray, Jr., and Daunte Bray; his sister, Rebecca Krieg, of North Cape May, New Jersey; and his longtime friend, Ruth Ann Krieg.

Cremation rites were honored by Bernard Funeral Home.

A private family ceremony will be held near his residence in Kentucky, on February 11, 2025.
