Randal Keith Nation, of Jamestown, formerly of Cumberland County, passed away Tuesday February 3, 2026, at Russell County Hospital. He was 78 years of age.
Born August 28,1947, in Burkesville, he was a son of the late Corbett and Rosa Jarvis Nation. For many years, he was the owner and manager of J&R Construction. In more recent years, he was a driver for H&H Transportation.
Survivors include three sons, Brian (and Michele) Nation, of Summershade, Jeff (and Melissa) Nation, of Middletown, Indiana, and Brian Johnson, of Maryland; one daughter, Chasity (and Corey) Patterson, of Burkesville; a sister, Geraldine Coe, of Gamaliel; nine grandchildren, Kelsi Denton, McKena (and Kobe) Nason, Chase (and Cassidy) Patterson, Cameron Patterson, Caitlyn (and Blake) Harlan, Jake (and Shelby) Nation, Clint (and Lauren) Nation, Seth (and Taylor) Nation, Morgan Nation, Marisah Thomas and Peyton Johnson; eleven great grandchildren, Brinlynn Dial, Copeland Denton, Magnolia Nation, Lennon Nation, Brecken Nation, Brooks Nation, Trace Nation, Walker Nation, Hudson Thomas, Griffin Thomas, Tucker Davis, and baby Baker, due in June; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Jackie Nation.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Nation and Roger Nation; and three sisters, Golda Hoots, Margie Flowers, and Barbara Pierce.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM CST Saturday February 7, 2026, at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Jackson Page officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 10:00 AM CST and continue until time of services.
