Richard Alan Georgick

Richard Alan Georgick, of Liberty, Kentucky, passed from this life Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, Kentucky.  He was 74 years of age.

Richard was born Saturday, May 27,1950, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Bud Joseph and Estelle Alice Laokoff Georgick.  He was a long-time truck driver for the Gus Electric Company of Chicago.  Richard had an unwavering passion for collector cars.  His knowledge about automobiles was vast; he loved sharing stories about each vehicle’s history and significance with his family and friends.  

Along with his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Joan Francine Georgick.  They were wed on December 8, 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Richard and Joan participated together as Mr and Mrs Santa Claus at the annual Christmas festivities of the Casey County Homemakers Club.

He is survived by two step-daughters, Ginette Ferrari of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Yvette (Dan) Utpadel of West Bend, Wisconsin; two step-sons, Thomas (Karen) LeDonne of Burlington, Wisconsin and Joseph (Char) LeDonne of Kenosha, Wisconsin.  Other survivors include fourteen grandchildren; Joey (Ashley), John, Kristi (David),

Kim (Brad), Sydney, Bailey (Trevor), Mallory, Mariah, Kayla, and Brytni; seven great-grandchildren, Ramsy, Raiden, Keegan, Dawson, Nora, JJ and Bernadette.

No public services will be held.  Bernard Funeral Home, Russell Springs, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements for Richard Alan Georgick.
