Sheila Mae Gumm

Sheila Mae Gumm, of Russell Springs, formerly of Campbellsville, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Summitt Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, in Columbia.  She was 75 years of age.

Sheila was born December 1, 1946, in Campbellsville, daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Melton Gumm.  She worked many years as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Brown and Bridgette Jones, both of Campbellsville; her brother, James Gumm, of Kearney, Missouri; her grandchildren, Joshua Simpson and Bobbi Jo O’Banion; and her great-grandchildren, Ryan Sears, Joshua Simpson, Jr., Jacob Simpson, Seamus Huber and Scarlet Huber.

Along with her parents, Sheila is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Lee Gumm and Wesley Alfred Gumm; and her granddaughters, Tara Simpson and Kellie Rae O’Banion.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., CST, Friday, May 13, 2022, in Russell Springs City Cemetery, with Bro. Bodie Emerson officiating.
