Tenna Shoultz, of Russell Springs, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Jean Waddle Care Center, in Somerset. She was 72 years of age.
Born November 14, 1952, in Uba City, California, she was a daughter of the late Ray Benzel and Naomi Beck Salisbury. Teena was an examiner at Fruit of the Loom and worked there for 25 years. She was later employed at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service for 11 years. Tenna enjoyed reading books, traveling, and she treated everyone she met like she was their “Nana.”
Survivors include a son, Michael (and Ronda) Shoultz, of Russell Springs; a daughter, Angie Penington, of Texas; brother, Ed (and Cindy) Benzel, of Washington; three sisters, Patsy (and Bill) Richards, and Judy (and Larry) Hoagland, both of Oregon; and Sharron Boger (and Richard), of Missouri; six grandchildren, Jessica Lawhorn, Marcus Holt, Skylar Shoultz (and Lacey Day), Devin Shoultz, Grayson Pennington, and Connor Pennington; and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Franklin Shoultz, and a daughter, Christina Holt.
There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home. No service will follow. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
