Thelma Jean Hall

Thelma Jean Hall, of Russell Springs, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was 73 years of age.

Born on December 30, 1948, in Russell Springs, she was a daughter of the late Elebree and Olza Shepherd Thomas.  Thelma was a homemaker and an Army Veteran’s spouse who raised her family while traveling wherever the Army sent them across the United States, Italy, and Belgium.  She was a loving mother and “Nana” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thelma had “the biggest heart” for people and a strong shoulder for anyone in need.  She was a Christian that lived out her faith in her daily walk. 

Survivors include her husband, Morris E. Hall, Jr., of Lisbon, OH; two sons, Scott (and Presha) Hall, of Lawrenceburg, and Robert (and Tara) Hall, Sr., of Russell Springs; a daughter, Tammi Jean Dykes, of Russell Springs;  eight grandchildren, Robert Hall, Jr., Courtney Hall, Morris Seth Hall, Trevor Dykes, Mckaylah Edwards, Tara Dykes, Jonah Hall, Willa Hall, and on the way, Timberlynn Hall; five great-grandchildren, Addilyn Edwards, Jackson Dykes, Asher Dykes, Quinten Janes, and Elena Brown; two brothers, Garry (and Patty) Thomas, and Lewis Thomas, both of Russell Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM CST, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home, with her son, Scott Hall officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM CST, Tuesday, at Bernard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the charity of one’s choice.
