Vickie Lynn Bernard

Vickie Lynn Bernard, of Russell Springs, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, in Somerset.  She was 63 years of age.

Born May 19, 1959, in Shelbyville, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Robert Bernard and Janice Johnson Sare. Vickie was a member of Bernard Ridge Church of God.  She enjoyed quilting and canning vegetables. Vickie especially loved her grandson, Blayne, and treasured the time she spent with him.

Survivors include her daughter, Tabitha Bernard, of Russell Springs; three sisters, Tinia Johnson, of Jamestown, Bobbie Bernard and Tonya Bernard, both of Indiana; a grandson, Blayne Bledsoe; and her life-long companion, Roy Beck, of Russell Springs.

In addition to her parents, Vickie is preceded in death by two sisters, Camilla Murray and Kim Dellinger.

Funeral services are 1:00 PM Monday, October 24, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating.  Burial will follow in Bernard Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM, until time of services, Monday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers for Vickie will be Tim Robertson, Dennis Robertson, T.J. Robertson, Josh Keeling, Joe Dylon Johnson, and William Murray.
